The Story

I grew up dancing in Rockford, IL with one dream: Broadway. At 17 I left the Midwest for acting school in New York, danced professionally for Royal Caribbean, and eventually took my story west to Los Angeles. I gave everything to performing and then, quietly, it stopped feeling right. The stage that had always felt like home started to feel like a costume I'd outgrown. It was time for a rewrite.

At 25 I stepped behind the camera and taught myself to edit. That pivot led me back to New York, where I worked my way up in the production world to work on a prestigious News and Documentary show on HBO and then move onto a YouTube channel with over 10 million subscribers. Along the way I also learned to shoot, direct, and produce. I fell in love with storytelling in a new way. In a lot of ways the transition made perfect sense. Editing is choreography. You're still working with rhythm, pacing, and story arc. Still trying to pull people in and make them feel something. I was no longer using my body, I was using my mind and a keyboard. Different medium, same instinct.

And then a significant loss uprooted my entire life. I found myself back in the Midwest, starting from ground zero, doing the hardest and most important work I'd ever done.

During that rebuilding, I tried everything to feel like myself again. For some time I felt isolated and confused and lost. I couldn’t see the light. I kept trying though and in time, I built out my toolkit for healing and moving forward. While therapy played a huge role, practicing Yoga was undeniably life changing.

In 2023, I decided to do a Yoga Teacher Training. Not because I necessarily planned to teach it or that I had a whole lot of experience with it, but because something told me the training would show me something new. It did. In ways that words can’t fully capture.

Then there’s Reiki. Everything is energy, and sometimes it gets stuck. Sometimes we get stuck. Reiki has given me the ability to help get unstuck and has become another great tool in my toolkit.

Transitions and rewrites are woven into every chapter of my story. They are, I've come to believe, where the most important growth happens. Working Title Wellness exists because of all of it. Every stage, every city, every rewrite, every loss, every beginning.

The Philosophy

Your story is still being written. That's not a consolation that's the whole point.

Think about what it takes to tell a great story. A choreographer doesn't abandon the dance because a pirouette doesn't land perfectly. They adjust, they feel it in their body, they try again. An editor doesn't scrap the whole video because one scene isn't working. They splice, try a new shot, go back and forth on the timeline until they find what works. A director calls cut, steps back, looks at the whole picture, and asks: what does this story need right now?

Wellness is all of those things at once. It's choreographing your life in real time. It's editing your story as it unfolds. Noticing what's working, releasing what isn't, finding the through line that connects all of it. It's giving yourself permission to rehearse, to run it again, to not get it right the first time. The best stories go through drafts. So do we.

There is no single answer to healing. No one right way to know yourself. You try things on. Some stick. Some don't. That's not failure, that's good storytelling. Perfection is overrated. The most compelling characters are the ones with depth, contradiction, and the willingness to keep going even when the next chapter is unclear.

What I want for you is simple: to get curious about the story you're already living. To rehearse and rewrite and cast yourself as the lead with full conviction. To be the beautiful, multifaceted main character that everyone roots for and most importantly, that you root for.

Be your own biggest fan. Your story is worth it.
